Whether you're in Perth or further afield, there are plenty of options to ensure a fun and fulfilling break. 1. Rockingham Disability Expo

Hosted by: WA NDIS Networking Hub

Date: Wednesday, September 25th

Time: 10am - 2pm

Location: Gary Holland Centre, Rockingham


Join us for the Rockingham Disability Expo where you can meet with over 30 local NDIS providers, ask questions, and discover a range of services available for your child. The event features:


  • Free Face Painting for kids courtesy of Limitless Community Services

  • Rugby Skills Practice with Rugby WA All Abilities

  • Free Coffee and Sausage Sizzle for the first 200 attendees, thanks to our sponsors 24seven Plan Management and ShiftCare


This is a great opportunity to learn more about NDIS services while enjoying a day out with the family. Entry is free, so don’t miss out!



2. Social & Emotional Holiday Program

Provider: Discovery Family Therapy

Location: South Perth


This program is tailored for primary school-aged children (6-12 years) and focuses on social and emotional development. The sessions, running for 2 hours, will be held in small groups (4-6 children) to ensure personalised attention. Support workers are welcome to attend.


3. Arise Services

4. Empowered Primary School to High School Transition - Collie Workshop

This workshop is designed to assist late primary school students transitioning to high school, including those who are homeschooled, disabled, or neurodiverse. It will focus on identifying strengths, overcoming challenges, and succeeding in diverse learning environments. Support workers and families are welcome.

5. Empowered Pathways: Navigating High School and Career Preparation

This session supports high school students with academic planning, mental well-being, career readiness, and exploring work experience opportunities. It will cover various schooling options, including traditional, homeschooling, and RTOs. Educators, trainers, and employers are encouraged to attend to understand how successful collaboration can help overcome educational challenges.


6. Empowered Futures: Life After High School and Employment Opportunities

Designed for post-high school individuals, this session will explore further education, vocational training, supported work experience, and employment opportunities. Ideal for those considering a career change or navigating the workforce without NDIS funding. Workshops can also be arranged in other areas.


7. Kalgoorlie School Holiday Program

Provider: Workpower


Workpower’s Kalgoorlie program offers a mix of community activities including gaming zones, movies, park play, sports, cooking, and work experience opportunities for children aged 7-17. It’s a great way for kids to stay active and engaged during the holidays.
